Remotely Increased Service

Fries Research & Technology GmbH (FRT) introduces new remote support system.

FRT has just extended its after-sales-services by a remote support solution for its measuring systems. The new service offers faster and simpler support for issues that can be solved right at the workstation. After remote entry has been granted, FRT’s service technicians can access the measuring PC’s keyboard and mouse controls over the internet. A simultaneous phone call allows for interaction with the operator on site. This support solution provides all the advantages of a personal support session without the downside of generating extra travel costs.

Special attention should be paid to the very easy-to-use and effective remote control software which runs without the need for installation or additional configuration. The only requirement is an existing internet connection. After having made an appointment with FRT the user receives an individual id-number which is entered into the software to begin the session (the software is available as a download with a very small footprint). The session log offers transparent and time-precise invoicing. As data security is always an important issue, the software features a 128-bit-encryption to ensure save communication between the customer and FRT.
