The German joint stand is organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and is intended to internationally promote Germany as a source for R&D. The 13 participating companies are located in the 192 square meters sized "German Area". His company has been active in the micro- and nanotechnology business for 13 years. FRT measuring systems are used in a variety of industries to characterize and evaluate the smallest surface details with micro- and nanometer accuracy - in R&D as well as in production control. This know-how is presented within a talk that Fries will give in the Nanotechnology International Forum. Furthermore, the graduated physicist will attend a reception at the German embassy along with high-ranking representatives from industry and research.
